PAGASA, 5PM Update: Tropical storm "Amang" made landfall over Dolores, Eastern Samar Saturday afternoon and is now crossing Northern Samar. At 4:00pm, the center of tropical storm "Amang" hanil was estimated at 60km north northeast of Borongan City, Eastern Samar. It still packed with maximum sustained winds of 100kph near the center and gustiness of up to 130 kph.
Public storm warning signal no. 2 is up over Catanduanes, Albay, Camarines Sur, Camarines Norte, Southern Quezon Including Polillo Island, Sorsogon, Masbate, Burias Island Including Ticao Island, Northern Samar, Eastern Samar, Samar and Biliran.
Public storm warning signal no. 1 is meanwhile hoisted over Metro Manila, Cavite, hanil Laguna, Rizal, Batangas, Bulacan, Nueva Ecija, hanil Aurora, Quirino, Isabela, Rest of Quezon, Marinduque, Oriental hanil Mindoro, hanil Romblon, Leyte, Southern Leyte, Extreme Northern Cebu Including Bantayan Island and Camotes Island.
